Especially for small or smallish tattoos, remember that the ink will bleed, (blur and not be as distinct), while healing, possibly permanently. If the writing is too close or tight, those lines can run over one another. Obviously, these concerns should be taken into consideration along with placement.  Printed fonts tend to look a bit ordinary, along with some script writings that are computer generated. They will work, but for maybe your first tattoo, you could personalize it with...your own handwriting! Yep, your talented tattoo artist can do this for you.
